Hi, we are a software editor building a vlc-based video player and it appears that for some of our users, our program is blocked by avast.
We believe this is a false positive, and would like to know how to proceed in order to fix the problem.
Our website is at http://fleex.tv, and our program’s installer can be downloaded here: https://fleex.blob.core.windows.net/misc/installer/fleex-2.0.0.exe
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The webrep problem you mention points to a download site that’s not affiliated with us in any way. Our site lives at http://fleex.tv. Just because a “bad” site references us doesn’t mean we’re evil too!

Ok to all for your advice. We’ve signaled the false positive through avast’s virus chest.
