Does anyone know if Avast has a setting that would block SMB connections? Specifically SMB1 connections.
In researching SMB1 connections, I discovered that it is often used to spread malware/ransomware locally through a network. I would see Avast trying to block this to prevent any sort of attack on your system. Therefore, I was curious if anyone knew of a toggle in the settings somewhere where this setting could be accessed and temporarily disabled.
I am trying to troubleshoot an issue on our local network and I have a feeling that it is being caused by an SMB1 connection being blocked by Avast.
