avast blocking TeamViewer

avast keep blocking TeamViewer even i added it on exception programs

Provide details…

TeamViewer disconnecting many times because of Avast so I added it to exceptions but the problem doesn’t solved when I disable all Avast shields it’s back connected again (TeamViewer works fine after disable Avast Shields)

  • Which version/build of Avast…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Avast free antivirus 20.9.2437 (build 20.9.5758.615)
OS: windows 7-32bit
there is no security software
we use Avast since many years

already added it to allowed apps but still have the same problem

Repair Avast:

  1. Avast GUI → Settings → Troubleshooting
  2. Click on ‘REPAIR APP’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
