Avast blocking traffic to my website (shiny.metabus.org)

Greetings,

Avast’s browser extension is blocking traffic to one of my websites (shiny.metabus.org) and declaring it a phishing site. It is not a phishing site. Can someone please unblock the URL?

Thanks,

Frank

I rather doubt it is the avast browser extension, more likely to be the Web Shield. I don’t have the browser extensions installed but the Web Shield alerted.

Considered a Low Security Risk here - https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/shiny.metabus.org - but some security hints at the bottom.

Outdated software reported here - https://awesometechstack.com/analysis/website/shiny.metabus.org/ - this could leave the site vulnerable to exploit.

Security points raised here - https://webhint.io/scanner/313a7c6e-d0d7-4e8a-bdf1-5779755fc1fe

This may or may not be why avast is alerting.

You can use the - Reporting Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php form.

Wait for a final verdict from avast team, as avast team members,
are the only ones to come and unblock in case of an FP.

Could have been part of Amazon/Go Daddy abuse as IP was found as part of a mining-botnet (Monero).
Whether that could have been a genuine detection or false flag, mind DavidR’s security related scan results,
and act accordingly. Forewarned is often forearmed,
