Avast blocking Windows Live Mail from sending email to my SMTP server.

Pretty self explanatory, Avast Free Antivirus is blocking Windows Live Mail from sending an email to Bigpond’s SMTP server at mail.bigpond.com.

I get the error message:

An unknown error has occurred.

Server Response: 421 concurrent connection limit in avast! exceeded(pass:15, processes:ccsvchst.exe[49], wlmail.exe[1])

Would like some help to fix it so I can send emails again.

welcome to the forum.

have you add windows live mail to be scanned by avast? if not go to setting and do so I’m no expert on windows live mail. Hopefully someone will give you further instruction on how to chance this.
