Today I logged on to a site that I visit on a daily basis. Avast detected a malware of some sort and is now blocking access to the site.
I don’t know if it’s a false positive, but would like to see a log of some sort to investigate…There is no new entries in the virus chest for this day.
Where can I find the log for blocked sites or the malware it blocked?

To understand a bit more of the underlying mechanisms of script and page-loading reads: http://mrcoles.com/blog/how-tracking-scripts-affect-page-loads/ (author = Mr Peter Coles). (Excessive) runtime of code also plays an important role in malcode detection as you can experience from jsunpack scan results. And also where the code is being executed and what it accesses.
