What title says.
After the recent issues with Avast i re-installed it but also installed Avast wall protection that took over Windows wall protection.
I uninstalled that Avast wall protection and the W/wall protection re activated.
But IN NO CASE i can re-activate Windows Defender.
What settings do i need to make in Avast or what element should i unistall of it inorder to re-activate Windows Defender?
Also tried to re-activate windows defender with all options internet sugests.
The message i get constantly is that an other programm de activates windows defender.
Should I uninstall Avast AGAIN?
I runned full scan check with Avast and Malware bites and not issues were found.
Everything is working as it is supposed to.
in later versions of Windows, Windows will disable defender when a av is installed.
In Windows 7 avast is doing it.
This has been explained in another thread by someone from avast.
Let me understand.
If Avast is running as its suposed to and if my W7 64b/ SP1/ Ultimate, are fully upgraded (as they are), then it is natural that W/Defender is not running because Avast does this for it! Am I right?
