this is the problem that cropped up the other day.
The request to scan was not successful because OA was not there. I turn on OA and the scan is successful msconfig or not. When I was trying to install device, I should have turned OA straught back on, once I saw its wasnt blocking anything.

the request probably wasn’t made, the OA flag didn’t come up because OA was turned off, so goes direct into Restart. But didn’t I just send a command to AvastSvc to schedule a bootscan? Yes I did.
It does on one computer but I set learn mode there. I think if I keep it on learn for a while.
The problem if it is such is that its strange to send a command to avast and then watch it go through to the desktop without a boot scan. but in every other sense problem solved.
