Avast! Boot scan support

When will Avast 5 support boot scan for Windows 7 x64? This is the only sucky thing with being on a x64 machine, No ability for Boot Scan!

Boot Scan for Windows 7 x64 will come this Summer with V5.1 release.

I have not needed Boot Scan on my Windows 7 system yet. :slight_smile:

That is awesome news. I haven’t yet needed it, but have used it in the past with Avast! 4.8 running Windows Vista x32 and was very useful to me. I look forward to the update to fully support x64. I mus say over the past two weeks, I have used several antivirus software and always come back to Avast! I also install the Free Version on PC’s that I service, and promote the software. To date in my opinion, Avast! is the best Antivirus software, and I congratulate you all!
