Three times now, and since my posts were moved or taken down am posting this way, yes seems that Avast just stops Star Wars The Old Republic Cold and crashes it. Othr games with Launchers have the same issue, then my Steam Games, well the game says its loading but no it didn’t load. Would really like to understand why there is not a “Whitelist” or a SAFE Game mode and not have to just turn off, yes turn OFF Avast so the games will load. Thinks back to a time a go and this so reminds me of another company, one that doesn’t listen doesn’t care about anything but profit and the bottom line and funny thing is that bottom line are the Customers and what they say and how they react to things like this. Please take the time to fix this it’s very very irritating to have to turn off this and then play then have to turn it back on so am protected from those pesky things that attack us. I love Avast but right now am Upset at Avast and well fix it and I won’t be upset any more.

It’s usually Behavior Shield that does this. I’ve seen it on some FIFA game before. Try adding it to exclusion for it.
For many people performing a clean installation for the latest avast version is solving the problem.
