Avast browser upon starting, it takes a few seconds, then it abrubtly shuts down wihout error, it seems it doesn´t respond initially, and starts tugging though it has loaded some previous pages, this happened today, 2025-10-29
Now…I experienced the same with Edge some weeks ago, then Chrome, and thought it had something to do with it´s chromium platform, and since end of windows 10 support, upgrades seemed to have messed things up, I asked AI about it, and it said there was some reported issues with browsers shutting down, and probably due to the last windows 10 update, and then the uppgrades on the browsers wasn´t compatible.
So avast stayed alive and healthy much longer, but now Avast joined the gang, on this machine I can not upgrade to windows 11, have to order a new computer, but..what the heck is going on here.
Edge, chrome, avast..all browsers refuse to work more than a few seconds.
Brave and firefox still intact, but not sure if those are going to be upgraded and adjust to the last windows 10 upgrade.
