Avast Business Cloud Management Console 5.12 has just been released today (15th August). This release delivers an enhancement and bug fix:
Enhancement
You will now be able to password protect different areas of the Avast Antivirus for your users. The following areas of the Avast Antivirus UI can be password protected:
o General program access – for opening the Avast user interface.
o Program settings – for access to all program settings opened from menu. User cannot uninstall Avast.
o Protection control – for turning on/off the active protection (antivirus shields)
o Protection settings – for access to active protection settings (antivirus shields). User cannot uninstall Avast.
o Scan control – for access to the controls used to start or stop a scan.
o Scan settings – for access to the settings that determine the various scan parameters.
o Update control – for updating the program and virus definitions and for changing update settings.
o Virus Chest control – for controlling the files in the Virus Chest.
o Firewall settings – for access to all Firewall settings.
Bug Fix
Fixed: Move to group action under devices will now move devices to the group when they have not been activated yet.
