Release Summary
This release contains improvements and bug fixes to our Avast Business Cloud Management Console.

Improvements

  1. [CBC-3444][CBC-9414]
It is now possible to acknowledge a risk check on a device so that the device doesn’t need to have In danger device status in a situation where it doesn’t make sense.

It’s up to every administrator to decide whether a device is or is not in danger based on data the system provides.

With this new functionality, you have two basic options:

  • Dismiss the current alert, or

  • Mute the risk check entirely for a selected period of time

  1. [CBC-9407][CBC-9409][CBC-9411]
We added a list of alerts related to each device on the Devices page and also the device detail page has been updated accordingly. You can solve these alerts one by one or for a selected group of devices from the Devices page. It’s also possible to solve alerts from the device detail page straight away.

Under the device status indicator, we added a service indicator so that you see at first glance what service is running ok or with some issues or which one is not subscribed.

  1. [CBC-9410] A new filter option has been added to the Devices page so that you can filter devices based on a specific alert.

  2. [CBC-9412] The dashboard has been redesigned to show all alerts across all your devices so that you can easily see a number of devices with the same problem and solve that directly from the dashboard or navigate to the Devices page and investigate more.
When you start using the Avast Business Management Console, the dashboard will no longer show empty widgets but rather a single widget with information on how to get started.

  3. [CBC-9818] Improved warnings on the device detail page related to program, agent and virus definition versions.

  4. [CBC-9413] Added a new risk check Threats found so that you can easily see a list of devices with a threat found and take an action accordingly.

  5. [CBC-9812] Added new status reason “Rolled back” for missing patches after a rollback.

Bugs
8. [CBC-8702] Fixed an issue with some devices being inexplicably in Vulnerable device status.
9. [CBC-9037] Fixed an issue with active sessions being often expired.

Known issues
[CBC-7826][CBC-7696] Password protection controls not applying correctly.
[CBC-8636] Internal Server error when opening custom policies.
[CBC- 9202]Showing an internal error while trying to delete unused setting template.
