Avast Business Hub 8.14

We’re pleased to announce that Avast Business Hub 8.14 has been released! (February 10, 2021).

The release contains Policies improvements and several quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

New Feature(s) & Enhancements
• Added a new column to the Policy Exclusions so you know if it was added by Avast defaults, a Global Policy or added Manually.
• Added the possibility to create a new policy and import all settings and exclusions from an existing policy in any site/customer under the same multi-tenant console.
• All exclusions now use the same table format for better usability.
• Improved usability of the Devices page on touch devices.
• Data on the Device detail page is now sorted by default.

Resolved issues
• Fixed an issue with a wrong billing period shown on the Invoices page when using Monthly billing
• Fixed an issue when a new application rule in Firewall may cause issues with the existing rules
• Fixed an issue with Reports not being available for download in some rare cases
• Fixed an issue with Password protection showing CHANGE_ME string upon change
• Fixed an issue with adding multiple IP addresses or a range of IP addresses
• Fixed an issue with Manage subscription action available for Partner licenses
• Fixed an issue with sorting devices based on the Last seen column
• Fixed an issue with wrongly aligned payment card information when using Monthly billing
• Fixed an issue with macOS Big Sur not being detected properly (Agent 6.6 required)
• Fixed an issue with getting an internal server error after opening a Policy

Avast Business Cloud Management Console 8.14

We are seeing that devices, synced after this releases, are getting the Restart needed alert. This is due to updates in Policies and some bug fixes.
Recently, we updated Restart needed alert so that it disappears automatically when a device is restarted manually after working hours for example so it will fix automatically over time.

I am sorry for the inconveniences with this unwanted alert.
