On one system protected by Avast Business Pro the Firewall is very frustrating for a PC which needs to be used for remote desktop.
The “Allow remote desktop connections to this computer” will NOT stay enabled past a reboot.
In geek:area Internet Connection Sharing (which should not be necessary in the first place) will not stay enabled past a reboot.
If I disable the Firewall indefinitely THAT won’t stay past a reboot either.
Avast gives good protection but the granularity of control is lacking.
Also I realize that simply clicking settings on a page without a “save” button is the new style of doing things, but over against that aesthetic choice, I think an unambiguous SAVE button with a “Settings saved” acknowledgement would improve functionality over the current click and hope it stays when you close the window way of doing things.
