I’m running BPP at one client site and sometimes the avast tray icon looks fuzzy / pixelated. Right now on two of my servers its pixelated, yet on the workstations it looks normal. What gives and what does this mean?
That is usually the result of the color scheme on a PC being set to 16 bit, setting it to 32 bit should fix it.
Thats not it. All the other icons in the tray look normal and sometimes on reboot the icon goes back to normal.
For me it happens (on ordinary avast!, no idea about business editions) when the first login to the machine after reboot happens via remote desktop.
That’s when the instance of the avast UI process (handling the tray icon) is started.
That might be it. I’m only connecting to these computers remotely. The one time I was in front of it and rebooted the icon went back to normal.
