Avast can not install when CPU get infected virus

Avast (free version) can not install when my CPU infected virus
I tried with KIS, Avira Premium, G-Data can install in my infected virus (but all product are not free)
Avast (4.8) is top1 in here: http://www.av-comparatives.org/
I hope Avast 5.0 is top1 in future!

Hi meigyoku

Try install avast! Free (avast 5) in Safe Mode - but download the exe as zip using a clean computer (if you can)

  • either to removable media (flash drive or CD) or else to clean computer and then copy to removable media

Boot infected computer into Safe Mode - from when you turn computer on, start tapping F8 key to get Safe Mode

  • copy from removable media to C:\Program Files in yr infected computer
  • extract from zip and run exe to install avast

Run boot-time scan - right click avast ball and select to Open avast! user interface
Click Help center at top right hand corner - select Scanning for viruses from dropdown menu on left-hand side
Choose boot-time scan and there is your how-to for the boot scan of yr computer

  • boot scan finds infected files, move them to virus chest rather than delete

Note: Dont forget to uninstall any other antivirus like Avira on yr computer when you are in Safe Mode, preferably with the uninstall utility that is advised by the manufacturer of the brand.

Thank you!
I will try as you said (But I want to say that I still install other antivirus in my infect computer very easy) I hope your next version fix this dangerous

meigyoku

if yr computer is infected, then it is not necessarily a good sign that that you can install an antivirus easily.

also, avast will not work to its best performance if there is another antivirus also running on same computer.

No, when my computer get infected virus, the first I tried install Avast, but virus make restart my computer (it’s the same when I run msconfig), so I can not install Avast. I tried to install KIS or avira premium, and I am successful
( I do not install or running 2 antivirus in my CPU)
I only want to give my idea Avast team to make your product better
I am using 52 computers in my company, so many things happen ;D
Thank you for fast reply and sorry for my English!

If you run 52 computers then you are computer literate - you will have logs that document all events that happen when you run the computers. Events are monitored by default as you must know. It would help immensely if you could post the logs here and indicate how it is Kaspersky and Avira install and avast does not. Alwil team will see this information and will be able to read what indications may point to deeper problem, which sounds like what you have. Since obviously, Kaspersky and Avira have not helped with infection or you would not have posted here.

I cannot understate how important are these logs (or screenshots if possible) or anything that will explain yr problem because you may have an undocumented infection. I cannot replicate yr problem and I have used the above method to help clean infections off countless computers with avast since 2006.

You cannot help avast team if you do not provide any information.
The exe always installs on computers - you problem is something else - possibly something very bad.
