As stated above. The link to manual update worked. Avast! still takes the time to lovingly remind me that definitions I should update my definitions. However, the automatic updates still do not work. I continue to plagued with the same message as the title of this thread. Avast! just cannot seem to establish a connection. Don’t think I’ll ever quite understand why as nothing else has had a problem doing so. I thank you both for further inquiring. Hope your day is going well.
