AVAST Cant be activated in Windows 8.1

After updated Windows 8 Proto Windows 8.1Pro

Subsequently,I cant run the latest version of AVAST Free.

I used AVAST uninstaller to uninstall AVAST and then reinstalled it.

But still it reports that my system is “unprotected”.Windows Defender is turned off.

I have Malwarebytes Pro turned on.

Do you mean that Windows is not detecting avast, don’t you?
Maybe the presence of MBAM Pro is blocking Windows to recognize avast! as the antimalware…
Trying uninstalling MBAM, booting, installing avast, booting, install MBAM again.
