avast cant find infected file?

???I got a warning from avast that it detected a virus, like every other time this happenend I just hit delete and it took care of the problem. this time when I tried to delete ,it came back and said “can’t find file”. Help Please I have no clue how to take care of this. I have windows XP , I run avast 4 home , I have no other antivirus running I have ad-ware and spybot .

It could have been a temporary file. What was the filename, waht was the location, what infection was reported?

C:\DOCUME~1\YOUCAN~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP\BUNDLE.EXE. ???,thank you for your time, it is a troj. virus, it doesnt tell me a location?

Sure it told you the location. It was in C:\DOCUME~1\YOUCAN~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP
That is a temp folder. Looks like my hunch was correct. To be safe, run a full system scan. I don’t think anything will be found, but better safe than sorry

bundle.exe is spyware. I suggest you post a hijackthis log here to see if we can find anything else that doesn’t belong on your system. If you click on the link onmy signature you will get to a page with a HJT analyzer link. get that one. It comes with the latest version of HijackThis.

I’m sorry I quite the idiot when it comes to this computer , my brats are much better at it than I am , ok I got the list from hijacker now what? :-\

Save the HijackThis log and post it here.

I don’t know how to send the list here , :-[ I told you I was an idiot! I have it saved in my documents

Just open the log, and use copy/paste
