Avast cant find Phishing mail why ?

Hi, why cant find Avast Phishing mails. ??? big Problem…

you should also ask why your mail provider dont block them :wink:

Note that avast spam filter only work if you use a mail client … not if you use webmail

  1. What type of emails is this (webmail or POP/IMAP4/SMTP (SSL/TLS)) ?

  2. If webmail, your webmail provider should be scanning these. However if your email is viewed via a browser, the webshield should scan external links if you happen to click them.

  3. If using an email client (Thunderbird, etc.) then if you have the email shield installed (?) and scanning email enabled they should be scanned. I don’t know if that extends to external links, but if you happen to click one, the webshield should get involved.

okay but what is when i load my mail Folders down !? how to scan or to clean Folders with Avast ??? ClamAV can Detect These !!!

What is it ClamAV detect? … mail attachments?

How does ClamAV detect this, do you right click a folder and scan?, you can also do that with avast

Have you considered that what ClamAV detect can be false positives

avast realtime protection will scan evrything you download/save/move/open/read… it monitors evrything that goes on in your computer when on
