Avast caught a virus.... now what?

My avast caught a virus before it totally got in my computer and advised me to put it in the “chest” so its in the chest now and i went to go look at it and scan it again and yes my antivirus confirmed it is infected… now how do i get rid of it…

p.s: If the virus is in the chest it cant do no harm right?

Don’t worry, avast got to the infector before it could do any harm to your computer and what is on it.
And yes the chest is a secure place. A virus in the chest is like a prisoner in jail, it cannot do much harm there. Leave it in the chest, say for two weeks. If it is not a critical file and your computer functions normally without it, you can delete it from the chest into digital oblivion. Be glad avast saved you there,
