Hello, i was crazy last few weeks searching culprit of disk errors(eventid 153) warnings in windows log. After disabled Avast for test i discovered it was causing the problem. I just want to know how i can solve this or i need to get away with Avast.
You need to provide details if you want help.
Event ID 153 is an error associated with the storage subsystem.
The error ID was introduced in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012
Later is was added to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 starting with hot fix KB2819485.

If the error doesn’t show when you disable avast it doesn’t mean avast is the problem.
What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
What is the problem your system is having or is it just a entry in the windows log file(s) ?
Win 8.1
Avast 11.1
Malwarebytes installed but this has no real-time protection, only for manually scans.
No problems at all with system, but this error saying everytime the operation was retried, i dont like it.
avast 11.1 is not the exact version.
The latest (stable) release is 2016.11.1.2253
If you have that installed, I would not worry about the entries in the event log.
Especially since you do not experience any problems.
The entry can just mean that windows is saying :
“Hé, I’m only one person don’t let me try to do everything at once”
That can happen if you have multiple things running, which is always the case.
