Avast, Chrome and NETGEAR

Hi guys!
I’m encountering problems with the software when I enter the NETGEAR D6300 interface with Chrome.
When I enter I can’t see nothing or some sort of home page, but with all missed up. Buttons and commands doesn’t work and everything takes a very long time when it doesn’t stacks!
When I disable temporary Avast protection, all works perfectly!!!
I tried to insert the router home page url in the exclusion list, but it didn’t worked.
I tried also with Explorer and all works only if Avast is disabled!

Can you help?

Anyone could help, please?

What shield is causing the problem?
How and where exactly did you add the exclusion?
What os/sp?
What exact version of avast?

Hi!
Sorry for poor infos :-[

OS is Win7 64bit
Avast is the free version and the last build I think… I’ve just downloaded and installed in my new build.
I inserted the exclusion in the setup menu, exclusions.
I don’t know exactly which shield was cause I suspend the service from the quick lunch icon (the one near the clock)

Disable the shields one at a time through the UI and see which one is the problem.

Hi!
Sorry for the late answer, but I was far from home for work… Ok, I tested once at time and the guilty is the “web shield”!

Ok… Now I discovered that this web shield makes quite all my downloads corrupted!!!
If I download a program with avast turned on the exe will result in a corrupted file; If I download the same file but with the web shield down I’ll get a good file.

This is the first time that AVAST make me all these problems after a fresh install of all the SO.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO… I bought Watchdogs on Uplay and after 1 day of download is corrupted >:(

AVAST is making me crazy… what fucking has been done to create all these problems???

Pratically I must disable it to do everything on the net… downloading, setting up my router,

Please watch your language…

Sorry… I apologize… just a little nervous when I can’t understand things :-[

Editing your post would help.

Any suggestion about the problem? Now I’ve uninstalled Avast and re-downloading all corrupted files… then I’ll try to install the antivirus again and we’ll see.

I installed the program again.
Now I can enter my Router’s setup page, but I have the corrupted file problem that I can’t understand.

Are there any setup specifications about it?

Any?
