I installed avast cleanup premium yesterday, after my avast antivirus suggested it.
i scanned my pc and it said i had oodles of broken or redundant shortcuts and i should remove them. so i hit ok. restarted my pc and everything is f’ing gone. not the programs and apps, theyre still there, just all the icons and shortcuts and access to them. i cant even search them and they dont show in my menu. Avast cleanup wouldnt run or open so i reinstalled and selected undo. undo was complete and i restarted. still nothing shows, cant find apps/programs. im having to dig through my files to pin everything to start menu to be able to find them. this is frustrating because half my programs i cant find. how the F do i undo this? this is a horrible product. i googled and it seems so many have this same sort of issue.
