Why does Avast Cleanup indicate “Loading…” and go no further?

Without knowing any details we can’t tell.
Only thing that logic predicts is that there is a problem.

What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)

I too have the same problem. My license is active etc but when I click to run clean-up it stays stuck on “loading”?
Everything is up to date.

Program version 11.1.2245
Windows 7 operating system ???

Hello guys,

we are investigating this issue by now. Work around should be starting the “Smart scan” and resolving the issues from there, then, you should be able to enter the cleanup section again.

I will keep you informed with other progress.
