Avast clients disabled (installed with adnm)

Hi,

One of my customers has serious problems with ADNM and clients installation.

He installed the server and ADNM without any problems. Then He made remote installations (SUS) some of the installations worked properly and some not. So, he made msi packages for the other (didn’t work with SUS).

Now all avast clients are installed but doesn’t work !

On the server the .dat licence is installed and on clients in the about we can read “unlimited” but the icon is still showing “disabled” on any clients!!!

Have you a solution or any ideas?

What exactly does not work?

  • the clients are not visible in the ADNM console?
  • or the antivirus protection on the workstations does not work?

Any error messages?

Yes clients are visible, but on the workstations, it shows “disabled” icon and he can’t activate !

Please check that an on-access task is assigned to the appropriate group in the Computer Catalog (either the root group or the group the computers in question are in).
