We are already protected with avast! without the need of a toolbar and I think the protection is better than
that offered by mcafee or norton. :slight_smile:

Avast doesn’t need a toolbar to protect you as the Web Shield does that without the need of any stinking toolbar ;D

You’ve probably guessed I’m not a fan of toolbars as every man and their dog want to put a toolbar on your browser, pretty soon you will have no room to browse because of the number of stinking toolbars ;D

Couldn’t agree more DavidR,
When ever I download anything there is always a box to uncheck for a toolbar, and sometimes it’s not always easy to find.

Yes, if you miss it it can usually be a pain removing the toolbar ‘completely,’ not just unchecking it for display in your browser.

Toolbar Browser=FUBAR Browser

There is a special circle of hell just for toolbars. Help send them there. Stop using them. (unless you actually have a good use for one, which 9/10 seem to not have.)

I feel for the person that has or had that computer. I’ve never seen that many toolbars before in my life. I vote HECK NO to toolbars. They are Ugly, take up valuable space and resources, slow your browser and truthfully with Avast not needed…
