Avast conflict with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

Hello, I’m reporting on a bug with Avast which causes a conflict with the steam version of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. Having Avast shield’s on prevents the game from loading any 3D graphics. I can confirm disabling Avast’s shields causes the game to load up normally.

Not sure why this is happening, the game was updated on March 14, and was working perfectly before, but now Avast causes that particular problem.

Just a heads up, not sure if there’s another way of reporting this bug but it might be causing problems to a lot of people. I’m keeping Avast disabled for the moment so I can play the game.

Hi, disable the behavior shield or set an exclusion.
Avast GUI → Settings → Components → Behavior Shield

I’m getting the same problem

32% into game and have been unable to play, for weeks! trying different things spending hours on it? thinking windows update, graphic card update other games in avast work fine.

But I disabled the Avast shield component for ten minutes and the game worked, flash to control panel on the ten minutes a few times - not good !

So is there something wrong, I paid for protection for three years… I may ask for a refund from Avast

do you have a fix? or are you still waiting for them to sort it out?

Add the games in question to exclusion list of Behavior Shield…
