Avast considr McAfee "bad plug-in"

Hi all,
I got new laptop with preinstalled Win8, and they have McAfee Internet security installed as well. I prefer Avast but I left McAfee too. Just wondering why does Avast consider McAfee a bad plugin? Should I uninstall McAfee completely?
