Since late last week (August 25th ish) Avast (recently updated to premium but I think this issue is even more recent than that) has been cutting off access to whatever wifi I’m using at the time. Definitely not a problem with the connection/router and disabling core shields doesn’t seem to work - I have to restart my computer (MacBook Pro 2020, BigSur 11.2.3).
Is this a known issue? Will uninstall if there’s no fix planned as it happens at random intervals, once or twice a day.
