Avast : Data error : Cyclic redundancy error (23)

¡Hello!
After doing a complete scan with Avast free!! version 5 (I do not know now exactly the version),I got several messages telling: Data error(Cyclic redundancy error: 23).
At the same time, the antivirus interface showed several files with this warning.
I have read in the forum several messages related to this error.
However, none of them have to do , I think, with the problem I have . In the posts I have read, people tell about hard disk errors, and I think my computer goes very well.
Could anyone give me more detailed account of this error (Error 23)??

It is 5.1.889

I’m afraid this error really indicates that there’s a problem with your hard drive.
Try to run a hard disk check, including surface scan.
