Hi, Sorry if my post is written badly.
Am using Avast free ed and Comodo firewall.
Recently pc got infection stopping access to facebook and trying to send me to another bogus server (got warning in facebook of this). "Problem started when son downloaded a free game and ignored warnings from comodo firewall.)
Used Malware Bytes full scan and this found 1 problem: Adware-Adrot, this was removed but still had problem.
Downloaded and used Comodo Cleaning Essentials, did a quick scan, this found 1 threat: all it said was “modify hosts”, removed this and pc works ok. However decided to do a full scan with CCE and this found this threat: rootkit/hidden directory in c:prog files.Avast software/avast definitions/13041002. I dont want to remove this without advice. I am a computer novice and dont want to mess up the Avast prog.
