anyway,i’ve just made my self a little ap,using c++,taken me for ever to complete,as soon as i’d finished it,avast said it was a virus and destroyed it…is there anyway i can get it back?

Well avast doesn’t delete anything by default, either the default action ‘Send to Chest’ has been changed or delete was a user selected option. Is it not in the virus chest ?
So what scan (on-demand) or real-time (on-access) scanner was it that alerted ?
I take it you can restore it from your backups, you do backup your system ?
