Both virus definitions and programs completely up to date on windows 7

Avast detecting Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] in fresh download of opera irrespective of whether it is direct from website or from download.com. It has also started blocking the web page that is linked if file does not download automatically. Even when I click add exception on the notice and add the webpage to list of exclusions it makes no difference.

This is in addition to Avast not allowing me to play the casinos on betfair.com with my shields on as it detects an invalid certificate in cryptoclient.betfair. Again adding site to exceptions does not work.

Do exceptions ever work?
