why did Avast not catch backdoor.bot? our client only found it because they ran malwarebytes

Can you restore it from MBAM quarantine and submit to www.virustotal.com to check?
Also, please, send it to virus (at) avast (dot) com for analysis.
Bc no antivirus have 100% detection, if they did there would not be a malware problem
sounds like a recurrent event, MBAM detects and Avast doesn’t >>> can’t say I’m too happy about that, and again, since this has been reported a few times by different users…there can’t be any doubt. Remains that the OP here hasn’t provided any log file ???
yeah, I saw it already and then found this one randomly, and it’s probably one of the links that you gave… I think that the problem exists, really, but still, I would have liked the OP of the thread here to show an MBAM log file…

sorry, don’t have the log file right now. the customer ran the log MBAM on there own and just wanted to know why Avast didn’t catch it. which my reason was like Pondus said “Bc no antivirus have 100% detection”
