Avast disconnects my wireless connection

Hi everyone,

Every hour at 7/8 minutes past the hour my wireless connection disconnects. A friend said it could be my antivirus running background scans. Can anyone help me to figure out how to stop my Avast disconnecting my connection.

What settings changes did you make to Avast when you installed the program ???

I installed it following the basic instructions, didn’t do anything fancy!
