Avast does not recognize my connection - firewall is down

Hi there everyone,

I’ve got a problem with my avast firewall and other shields associated with internet virus protection - avast is telling me that it have no connection and it wont let me turn the firewall, Secureline, etc on. My internet is running well and I have no connectivity problem. Is this caused by virus infection? I have reinstalled the program and scanned my pc with both AdwCleaner and MBAM. Additionaly I am not able to register or login due to this problem. My Avast is simply acting as in offline mode. Any tips? Thanks in advance

have you tried avast repair?

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option

any change?

Thanks for response. I tried the repair option with no luck, firewall and Secureline is still unavaible.
