Avast does not work with Netscape Imap!!!

Hi, I’m here to say that Avast does not work with Netscape’s free IMAP mail service on Netscape 7.2.! I had to get into Prefs.js to correct the configuration to bypass Avast because going through the Avast 127.0.0.1 server returns error messages all the time. The POP services works fine, though…, ;D

does anyone know why? Now my netscape.net mail is not protected… :o

  • Upgrade to Avast 4.5 beta.
  • Setup the mail as if Avast isn’t there.
  • Let us know if the problem is solved.
