avast doesn't catch a lot of viruses under the following URL

I have latest uptodate avast running but it doesn’t catch a lot of viruses under the following url

for example

… and so on…
approximately every fifth click suggested me to download file :frowning:

would you guys update your signature database, please?

Don’t post links to malware to this forum, please.
You can send them to virus@avast.com. I’d say, however, that if it’s an old collection of DOS malware, it doesn’t have the highest priority.

Seems avast! does detect at least the first of these viruses, and yes it does seem to be old DOS malware. In fact F-Secure says:

This is the oldest PC virus known, first detected in January '86

So we’re talking virus dinosaurs here.

EDIT: The second virus was also Brain, and also detected by avast!

nevgeniev, you may need to right click the folders and request a scan before avast! will detect them as they are zipped files. (I assume you have updated your definitions since 1986? ;D )

Anybody browsing with Windows 3.1 on a 486, watch out!!
