I have reinstalled google chrome on my system, but avast doesn’t show me chrome in the list of browsers installed on my computer. So I can’t install avast webrep plugin on chrome, because for avast chrome in not installed on my system! What can do? Avast is going crazy?

You can try doing a repair of avast and see if that does the trick or, you can use the following:
Adding the avast! WebRep extension to Google Chrome v21.xxx
(Will work Chrome v21.xx and up)
Ok now the webrep works on chrome, but avast still continues saying that google chrome is not installed! What is the reason of this problem?

Sounds like your avast copy maybe corrupted ??? i would do a clean install.
have I to uninstall avast? What will happen if avast continues in not recognicing google chrome as an installed browser? Will Web rep stop working?
Only way to know is to perform the clean install, it usually fixes any problems.

Ok, I have completely reinstalled avast, but the situation is the same…webrep plugin has worked immediatly on chrome, I can see the green icons, but if i look in avast menu, under browser protection google chrome doesn’t appear…is someone able to tell me if this issue will cause some problems to my protection when I surf in the net with this browser?
