About 1-2 weeks ago, the Password Manager in Avast stopped working.
The directions show that I should go to Menu>Settings>General>Troubleshooting
When I go to Menu>Settings, I get an “Authorization” screen stating “Password Required. Please enter your password to access this part of AVAST”
When I enter my password it shows “Wrong Password”
I then sign in on my browser. If I go to profile.avast.com, I can change the password there to a new one. Did that - no luck - same problem.
No matter how I try to get into my settings from the menu on the Avast screen, it will not let me in.
I then tried to log out of Avast altogether, and I came to the same authorization screen.
I don’t know what to try next. >:(
