Avast dont like my root :(

Hi,
I have avast mobile since i got message about it (maybe a month after it came out) and now i thought about setting up Anti-Theft. And here is problem that avast didnt want to ask for su access.
For 30 min its “Installing…” A-T (advanced install). On tablet it was easy, less than 1 minute and avast A-T is working, so i think WTF?

Next is firewall:
Week ago i reflashed phone. Before that i could start firewall, now i got an popup for less than second (i think there is “applying…” or sth) and its still inactive. Reboot phone or reinstall avast - nothing work, no ask for su, nothing.

PS. I know that title is stupid, but its showing my problem i think:D

EDIT: Next reboot and Anti-Thief working!!! Strange, coz still have problem with firewall???

do you have some superuser whitelist installed? check settings there! sometimes users by accident have even 2 SU whitelist programs installed, conflicting with each other.

You could change SU settings to “Always Allow” rather than “Prompt for Access”, then reinstall. After you reinstall successfully, change SU settings back to prompt, and Avast will still be in the whitelist. It is a pain and actually happens with alot of root apps. SU has yet to actually address it.
