Avast don't see a old virus

i have infected with a virus last month… is 2 problems: first, in moment of infection i have avast antivirus(home edition) active, and two, after 30 days avast still don’t see that virus… in that moment another two antivirus programs already identify that virus… maybe i see soon that virus identified by Avast…i like avast antivirus and i used in last 1 year… i want to use it in the future but i expect more acuracy. How i can help avast team then i find a new virus, i can upload that virus to be added in virus database? P.S. excuse for me english

i sent that virus to virus@avast.com …if after 3 days avast antivirus identify that virus, i still use it ;D . i sent the virus from si1viu@yahoo.com
