I have totally un-installed and downloaded the program again just in case I had a bad download. Installed and trid it but it still won’t scan. I just don’t know what happened.

And what is listed as mailprovider in OE?

’ in avast4.ini. The mail provider is pop3. I t will be awhile before I can get back to you, I will be out all day.
