It’s NOT the subscription information being accessible in Avast Internet Security. :-\
And NOT the Sandboxie issue either …

Well one of the team mentioned that a fix for something (I thought the subscription bug) would probably be released via the emergency update.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
Have you actually rebooted since WinPatrol or your firewalls started querying emergency update related permissions ?
Yes of cource

I also have restarted Windows, and the subscription bug isn’t fixed.
Huh ???
Serious : I didn’t had the shop and subscription bug, but now after the Emergency Update I have those bugs too on both systems :o

Maybe these bugs will be declared the new ‘normal’.
Maybe they want to get rid of the paying customers

Today, Avast Internet Security will display subscription information by right-clicking on Subscription information of the Avast tray icon on both machines.
Yesterday, even after a couple of reboots after the emupdate was applied, it wasn’t working.
Yes
Shop and subscription are working here too ( again ) on my Win 7 system, also when I open them from the Avast GUI
EDIT : On my Vista system it is working too. It seems to be fixed than
EDIT 2 : No new Emergency Update was rolled out today. So how it is fixed now, is a mystery to me.

I just wonder if as well as the EM Update there has also been some change on the engine update, within the regular avast Engine and virus definitions auto update.
I just want to add that both systems were switched on from sleeping mode.
When I first tested shop and subscription after Gopher John’s message, they were not working.
Than I updated both virus defenitions and program from the GUI.
After rebooting Windows, shop and subscription was working again on both systems.
