Actually we were talking seriously about making other foreign language forums (French, Japanese - maybe Portuguese (?) and other) but the problem is that WE (the Alwil team) wouldn’t be able to provide technical expertise on that forums - simply because our knowledge of those languages is insufficient. Also, some of you guys would have to moderate those forums (not really a big deal but requires to step by from time to time)…

We’re still open to your suggestions…

Totally agree and that’s what i was telling maralex : if he needs help, he should post in english to have a quick and reliable answer.

I don’t think that making foreign language forums is a good idea because it reduces the overall knowledge. It is best to have a centralized forum with time to time a post in a foreign language (for those who can’t write in english). Then a forum user could translate the post in english, and that way many more users could send a reply. The final solution to the problem would then be translated again in the original language. Anyway it’s just my personal opinion, and maybe others don’t agree with me. You could also add a translate button linking to a dedicated web site.

j’ai recu un message d’un gars que je ne connait pas mais j’aimerais l’aidé tout de même (coàmment il a eu mon mail?) voici sont message si quelqu’un sait merci d’avance
J’ai un problème d’installation de l’antivirus gratuit avast 4.

Après l’avoir installé et mis de code de registration, lorsque je le démarre j’ai le message d’erreur suivant:

Avast
ERREUR INCONNUE
Un espace de stockage n’a pas pu être crée pour la tâche “splash”.

puis
ERREUR INCONNUE
La configuration n’a pas été chargé correctement - erreur- dbsCreateObject

et enfin
ERREUR INCONNUE
le programme ne peut pas sauvegarder les paramétres.

I received a message of a guy whom I did not connait but I would like
helped all the same (coàmment it had my mall?) here are message if
somebody knows thank you in advance I have a problem of installation
of the free antivirus avast 4.

After installhaving installed it and put of code of registration, when
I start it I have the error message according to:

Avast
UNKNOWN ERROR a space of storage could not be creates for the task
“splash”.

then
UNKNOWN ERROR the configuration was not correctly charged -
dbsCreateObject error

and finally UNKNOWN ERROR the program cannot safeguard the
paramétres.

Il serait meilleur si le français d’origine était correct… En effet même le meilleur des traducteurs automatique ne pourra jamais faire un bon anglais si le message d’origine en français est bourré de fautes. Par exemple “paramétres” n’a pas été traduit parce qu’il faut écrire “paramètres”. Un bon anglais commence par un bon français !!

Ceci dit je trouve la traduction d’un bon niveau et c’est très compréhensible. Bravo Lycos.
