hi brothers
last night i run a scan of avast on an old cd and i know that the cd contains viruses avast detect the infected files (infected with alman virus)but every file detected by avast was infected also with sality and avast just detect alman
what i want to say is why avast engine scan a file and if the file infected avast stop scanning the file and go to another file.
dr.web detect the both alman and sality
Well… is there any good on delaying the scanning passing from all virus set if one of them is enough to get the status of “infected”?
It will only delay the scanning imho.
Maybe this is the reason of some “slow” on-demand scanners.
that is the reason dr.web could repair any file and restore it to the original status and that cd i copy to my hard after disable avast and scan by dr.web and dr.web repair all files i rescan by avast and nothing was infected in the copied files.
I really doubt that the word any could be applied to a virus infection restoration procedure.
It can’t promise that.
