We recently renewed our Avast! license. I’ve noticed that the clients are updating the latest license but they are not updating the latest VPS files. We’ve had ongoing problems with the VPS update process. For example as of this writing, the latest VPS is dated 170717-1. The client says it’s version is current but is dated 140614-1. It copies 4 files down to the client but does nothing with them.

I’ve checked that the appropriate ports are open in the firewall, as well as file sharing and network discovery are on in GPO and show up in the client firewall settings.

Any ideas?

Hi. Thanks for link. I wrote several notes to check on; however, I didn’t see anything in that section that addressed my problem. Could you be more specific? I’m having trouble understanding why the client can see the console to update the license but won’t update the VPS. It’s sporadic in nature. Again, all firewall settings and port openings look correct.

What Asyn means is that you posted in the wrong section.
You should post in the section that link is showing you.
