avast error,not moving trogens to chest

I ran a full boot scan and it said it found corrupt files and also trogen win32 and that it moved it to the chest,but when I opened chest it had an error and didn’t get moved.It didnt give me a full report to read after either as I set it to do.can not use copy/paste and none of my tools are working good.Can not do a back-up.Can some one please tell me what to look for in reg to manually get rid of this.I am not afraid to delve into the registery with knowing what to look for.Or a fix for my avast to fix reg .please help mosie

Are you sure the files weren’t moved? Maybe “new” ones were created while the “old” are into Chest.
Which is the error when you move to Chest? Did you run avast at boot time?

yes I ran scan at boot time.error 1722 and rpc server is unavailable also can not use chest client null

avast installation seems to be compromissed.
Maybe you could repair the installation or even install from the scratch.
Which was your old antivirus (the one before avast)?

I had zone alarm internet suite.It was ready to expire and i had decided not to renew a suite.I wanted to use seprate programs for firewall and virus etc.I also have spyware doctor and superantispyware and also malwarebytes,rootrepeal,HJT trying to figure out whats wrong.Only “virus” protection I now have tho is avast.I have run my jv16 power tools cleaning up registry a bunch of times.And rebooted a bunch too.Trying to make sure the zone alarm was gone.
None of the progrmans seem to work right now except my cleaning tools with jv16.I have deleted a ton of stuff I saw listed during scans as being corrupt and then cleaned reg after each delete or uninstall.copy/paste wont work,HJT wont work,and services within windows seem frozen.after a week of this Iam ready to go buy a new HD and start over.The heck with what I loose.BUT would be great to not have to do that.lol
When I open my avast to check settings it keeps telling me the resident protection is disabled and I have to change to setting again.not sure my windows firewall is working now or not,cant get into it.
Can I run avast in safe mode?
